Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Is there any chance that support for AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux 10 could be added to installimage?
It's probably trivial to support, given that CentOS Stream 10 (which is already supported) is the upstream of RHEL 10. In other words:
Fedora 40 -> CentOS Stream 10 -> RHEL 10 (and its derivatives)
It will likely be added/published when the corresponding images will become available.
While adding support is fairly straightforward, testing the images with the various platforms takes some time.
Do you have an estimated timeline for this? I'm hoping it won't take as long as the RHEL 9-based images, which took over two years.
For context, we still have a server running Rocky Linux 8 that we plan to reinstall with Rocky Linux 10, as RHEL-based distributions generally recommend a clean reinstall for major version upgrades.
It looks like Hetzner now offers support for AlmaLinux 10 and Rocky Linux 10 on its EX and AX servers:
